Step 1: Unbox and Prepare Your Ledger Device

Before You Begin

Step 2: Initialize Your Ledger Device

1. Power On – Connect your Ledger and press both buttons (Nano S/S+) or the power button (Nano X).
2. Set a PIN Code (4-8 digits) – This protects your device from unauthorized access.
3. Write Down Your 24-Word Recovery Phrase
   • Displayed word-by-word on your Ledger screen
   • Never digitize it (no photos/cloud storage)
   • Store multiple copies in fireproof/waterproof locations
4. Confirm Your Recovery Phrase – Verify by re-entering random words.

• Your recovery phrase = Your crypto. Lose it = Lose access.
• Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase.

Step 3: Install Ledger Live & Connect Your Device

1. Download Ledger Live (Official Download)
   • Available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS & Android
2. Launch the App and select "Get Started"
3. Connect Your Ledger via USB/Bluetooth
4. Follow On-Screen Setup – The app will verify your device authenticity.

Step 4: Add Crypto Accounts & Manage Assets

1. Click "Add Account" in Ledger Live
